Transitioning to Gender Awareness

Transitioning to Gender Awareness

Drs. Roberta Dalley and Corinne Heinen discuss UW Medicine's Transgender & Gender Non-Binary (TGNB) Program in Episode 11 of “The Transformer: the UW Medicine Care Transformation Podcast: “Transitioning to Gender Awareness.”

The TGNB program is advancing UW Medicine's vision to provide patient-centered and gender-affirming care to current and future patients in both the primary and specialty care setting. It is also helping our workforce become more gender aware and medically informed about how to take care of our gender-diverse patients.

Dr. Roberta Dalley is an associate professor of radiology, neuroradiology and neurological surgery. Dr. Corinne Heinen is a family medicine physician at the UW Neighborhood Belltown Clinic and physician lead for the UW Medicine TGNB Program.
