UW Medicine’s maternal fetal medicine specialists consult on complex medical conditions of the mothers such as diabetes, hypertension and diseases of the heart, kidneys, lungs and immune system. They also consult and provide prenatal screening and diagnosis of suspected fetal anomalies and genetic conditions.
