Claudius Mahr, DO, FACC, FESC

Dr. Claudius Mahr is a board certified cardiologist, director of Clinical Integration and medical director of Mechanical Circulatory Support at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Cardiology.

Dr. Mahr specializes in providing care to patients with heart failure, using the latest in medical, surgical and device therapies. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Mahr earned his D.O. at Midwestern University, Downers Grove, Illinois. He is triple board certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, Cardiology and Internal Medicine .He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the Heart Failure Society of America, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
