Eileen Bulger, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a UW professor of Surgery and Chief of Trauma for Harborview Medical Center.
Dr. Bulger enjoys caring for injured patients and their families for the time of injury and throughout the hospital stay. Her aim is to optimize the trauma system to get the right patient to the right place at the right time.
Dr. Bulger specializes in trauma, critical care and acute surgical emergencies. Her research focus involves advancements in pre-hospital care, the early resuscitation of injured patients, and the management of necrotizing soft tissue infections. She also enjoys instructing surgical residents and medical students.
