James McCabe, MD
Interventional Cardiology
James McCabe received his medical degree from Yale University and did his internal medicine training and general cardiology fellowship at University of California, San Francisco. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship as well as an advanced interventional fellowship in structural and peripheral interventions at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
Dr. McCabe has a clinical interest in catheter based therapies for coronary artery disease, aortic valve stenosis, peripheral arterial disease and venous thromboembolism. His research interests focus on quality and performance metrics for cardiovascular procedures and their use in public 'report cards'. He was recently elected to the management committee for the Cardiovascular Outcomes Assessment Program (COAP), the Washington state public reporting agency for percutaneous coronary interventions and is chair of the PCI Analytics and Reporting Subcommittee for COAP.
