Jennifer Beckman, MSN
Jennifer Ann Beckman, M.S.N., A.R.N.P., C.H.F.N., is a nurse practitioner in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington, Seattle. She specializes in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation.
Beckman completed her master of science in nursing and family nurse practitioner training at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is certified by the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses.
Her clinical interests include advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. Her research interests include heart failure, quality of life and ventricular assist device outcome improvement.
Beckman is UW teaching associate. She is also a clinical assistant professor at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Beckman co-chairs the UW Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Council, and serves on the UW Medical Center Nurse Executive Council and on the board of directors of the International Consortium of Circulatory Assistant Clinicians.
