Jerry I. Huang, M.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, program director for the Hand and Microvascular Fellowship Program and medical director of the UW Bone & Joint Center.
Dr. Huang earned his medical degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University, a fellowship through UCLA Hand and Microsurgery and an AOTrauma Fellowship in Bern, Switzerland.
His clinical interests include hand, wrist and elbow fractures, elbow replacement and reconstruction, treatment of stiff elbows, wrist and elbow arthroscopy, endoscopic carpal tunnel release and joint replacement and reconstruction for thumb and finger arthritis. His research interests include treatment of upper extremity fractures and reconstructive procedures in the hand, wrist and elbow, wrist reconstruction techniques, bone and cartilage tissue engineering and stem cell-based therapy in biologic tissue repair.
