Mia Hagen, MD

Mia Hagen, MD

Biography

Mia Hagen, M.D., is a surgeon at the Sports Medicine Center at Husky Stadium, a team physician for Husky Athletics and a UW assistant professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. 

Dr. Hagen performs minimally-invasive surgery for all types of athletic injuries, with particular interests in hip arthroscopy and injuries of young athletes. She loves returning injured athletes—whether weekend warrior or professional competitor—to the field. 

Dr. Hagen earned her M.D. at UC San Francisco. Her team experience includes working with the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, the MLB Cleveland Indians, all NCAA DIII sports at Baldwin-Wallace University, the MiLB Mahoning Valley Scrappers, and the San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Club. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy.
