Nicholas Compton, MD

Nicholas Compton, M.D., is a board certified physician and medical director at the Dermatology Clinic at UWMC Roosevelt and a UW assistant professor of Dermatology and Medicine. He is also associate program director for the UW Medicine Dermatology Residency Program. He has been named a Seattle Met magazine Top Doctor. 

Dr. Compton specializes in medical dermatology, including the care of patients with complex skin diseases. He has a special interest in tele-dermatology, using images to diagnose and manage skin disease from a distance, and is developing a program at the UW. He strives to provide compassionate care to patients using a team-based approach and using evidenced-based treatment. 

Dr. Compton earned his M.D. at the UW. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. His clinical and research interests include medical dermatology, teledermatology and systemic diseases and the skin.
