Sean Nork, MD
UW Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Professor, Trauma Section Chief
Sean Edward Nork, M.D. is an associate professor of orthopaedics and sports medicine specializing in orthopaedic surgery for trauma patients. He has a particular interest in surgery for non-union fractures and fractures around the joints.
Dr. Nork earned a bachelor's degree in bionegineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. His internship and residency were done at the University of California, San Francisco. He came to the UW as a fellow in the prestigious orthopaedic traumatology program at Harborview Medical Center. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Nork's clinical interests include orthopaedic traumatology, non-union fractures, periarticular fractures and pilon fractures.
