Stacey A. Cohen, MD

Stacey A. Cohen, MD

Stacey Cohen, M.D., is a board certified oncologist at SCCA and a UW assistant professor of Oncology and Medicine.

Dr. Cohen specializes in treating people with colorectal and other gastrointestinal cancers. She became motivated to participate in cancer research after learning of the number of younger people diagnosed with cancer every year. She approaches each patient as an individual and tailors her treatment recommendations to meet their goals.

Dr. Cohen earned her M.D. at the University of Michigan. She is board certified in Oncology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Cohen's research interests focus on how genetics influence cancer and cancer treatment as she thinks this is an area that will be of increasing importance in the years to come.
